Origin: From wild purple tea trees grown in the high mountain areas in Yunnan province. Leaves are picked in the earliest part of Yunnan’s spring.
Method: The flavor of the high tannins typically found in black teas are softened in this wild tea via two days of wilting prior to roasting, enabling a wonderful balance.
